About NoticeToVacate.net

NoticeToVacate.net was built out of a simple frustration: navigating landlord-tenant law is confusing, expensive, and unnecessarily stressful — especially when all you need is one correctly-written document.

I'm Meilu Wu, the founder. I have a background in legal affairs and contract documentation, and I've spent years working at the intersection of law and technology. I created this platform because I kept seeing the same problem: tenants unsure of their rights, landlords sending defective notices, and both sides dealing with preventable legal complications — often because they couldn't afford a lawyer for something this routine.

NoticeToVacate.net exists to close that gap. We provide a state-specific notice to vacate generator that walks you through every required element — notice period, delivery method, legal grounds — so your document holds up legally, regardless of which state you're in.

What we cover

We've researched landlord-tenant law across all 50 US states. Our generator and editorial content reflect the actual legal requirements in each jurisdiction — not generic templates that may not meet your state's standards.

Our commitment

We don't offer legal advice, and we're not a law firm. What we do offer is accurate, state-specific documentation guidance built on solid legal research. For complex disputes, we always recommend consulting a licensed attorney in your state.
